Infusing Trumpet In Anything Musical
Dawn Weber is appreciated as one of the top entertainers in the St. Louis region. She studied trumpet performance at North Carolina School of the Arts and Cleveland Institute of Music. She was chosen 1 out of 5 trumpet players in the world to compete in the esteemed Elsworth Smith International Trumpet Competition.
After moving to the St. Louis, Dawn performed with the popular group Vargas Swing which toured all over the country. It is with Vargas Swing that Dawn started fronting a band with her trumpet and singing.
Dawn can also be found working with several musical projects of various flavors. When not with the Electro Funk Assembly, an project focued on electronica, you can find her with “Dawn Unplugged”, aka, “au natural” and The Dawn Weber Project in which Dawn showcases her originals with a live band.
